International University of Fundamental Studies is a branch of St. Petersburg State University and serves as it's social sciences research and educational liaison center.

As a facilitator of global education standards, IUFS  holds certifications from The Cambridge Association of Managers, UK, and Oxford Association of Management, UK -- and is recognized by the Secretary of State of the State of California, and the Board of Supervisors of the City and Council of the City of San Francisco.

Finally, the IUFS is also recognized by International Parliament and the United Nations Global Compact.
